Harmony should prompt you to initiate Bluetooth pairing. Netflix allows you to move a frame forward or backward using the direction left and right arrows. Hulu allows you to skip 10 seconds forward or back using the direction left and right arrows. YouTube allows you to navigate between videos using the Direction Right and Left commands. You can view common Fire OS device commands on your phone or tablet screen. By default, swiping up or down on the gestures screen will change volume. There are 22 gestures in total, view and customize them from the app. The first time you start the activity it will go into pairing mode, and you can pair it with the FireTV through the Settings > Controllers menu. Then associate an activity with that newly added device. Harmony Express allows you to use your voice to launch apps with this device. What can I do I did not have this issue with my standard Fire TV 4k stick, this only happens with my Fire Stick 4k Max stick. It's like even though the harmony one controller is synced to the fire stick, once I restart the activity the harmony can't turn on the first stick unless I manually use the fire tv remote then the harmony controller connects. If I take the fire tv controller and just press the home button while this happens then the fire tv stick turns on and the picture on my tv shows the home screen and then also my harmony controller will connect to the fire tv. Nothing happens after that, my harmony controller fails to connect. I successfully paired the new fire stick with my harmony set up and was able to control the fire stick 4K max but am having an issue when when I power off my fire tv activity and turn it back on, my tv screen turns black and my harmony remote says "Connecting with your amazon fire tv stick". I have had my harmony home one working perfectly with the standard fire tv 4k stick but I recently upgraded to the fire tv 4K Max.
